Xiumin is a famous actor and singer who debuted in South Korea. His original name is Kim Min-Seok and was born on the 26th of March 1990. He became famous after joining ‘Exo’, a South Korean musical band in 2012.

Apart from music, Xiumin also had interests in martial arts and football. He has joined the Football Association of Korea as a promoter. In his early career, Xiumin took part in a reality show named ‘SM’s Everysing Contest’. After facing rejection in the first attempt, he finally made it to the finale of the show in 2008.

Xiumin was featured in “School OZ” as Aquila in 2015. Xiumin’s best performance that boomed his career was in the Korean web series ‘Falling for Challenge’. The web drama gained immense success and it was viewed by 20 million people within a fortnight of its launch. Xiumin has sung and composed many hit songs including “Breakin’ Machine” (2014), “You Are the One” (2015), “Call You Bae” (2016), “For You” (2016), “Young & Free” (2017), “Beyond” and “You” (2019), and “To My One And Only You” (2021).

Xiumin’s movie appearances include “Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River” in which he played the role of Gyeon. He has featured in 6 music videos from 2013 to 2019. He also won ‘The most Popular Singer Award’ in 2017.
