Xavier Dolan is a multi-talented Canadian artist who has achieved international fame in acting, production, writing, and costume designing. Xavier debuted in TV commercials when he was a teenager. Later, he worked as a director and producer for many of his movies and even received three awards for ‘I Killed My Mother’ at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival.
In no time, Xavier was recognized as an emerging talent by many directors and he featured in many famous Canadian films including ‘Bad Times at the El Royale’, ‘It Chapter Two’, ‘Boy Erased’, and ‘Elephant Song’. Some other Xavier Dolan movies are ‘Heartbeats’ (2010), ‘Tom at the Farm’ (2013), ‘Charlotte’ (2021), ‘Mommy’ (2014), ‘Lawrence anyways’, (2021), and ‘Matthias & Maxime’ (2019). In 2013, the actor debuted as a music video editor for the famous rock band ‘Indochine’.
In 2016, Xavier was featured in ‘It’s Only the End of the World’ which is based on an old theater play. He directed and produced this film as well as wrote the dialogues. In 2018, he gave his voice to the character of ‘Kit Harington’ in the French version of the same movie. Later on, he worked as a voice-over artist for many French versions of Canadian movies like ‘The Hunger Games’, ‘Kick-Ass 2’, ‘Maleficent’, ‘The Theory of Everything’, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’, and ‘Paper Towns’.
