Lucas Black was born Lucas York Black in Alabama, the U.S. He appeared as an emerging talent in the Hollywood film and television industry in the 1990s. He is known worldwide for his recurring role in ‘The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift,’ ‘Fast & Furious 6,’ and ‘Furious 7’ as Sean Boswell. He is the recipient of the Young Artist Awards and Youngstar Awards.
He made his film debut in 1994 in the movie ‘War,’ which failed to impress the public and critics. After that, he was offered small roles in the movies ‘Sling Blade’ and ‘Ghosts of Mississippi’ in 1996. In 1999, he provided his voice to the character of Randy in the animated movie ‘Our Friend, Martin.’ Other Lucas Black movies are ‘The Miracle Worker (2000), ‘Deepwater’ (2005), ‘Cold Mountain’ (2003), ‘Get Low’ (2009), ‘Promised Land (2012), and ‘Legion’ (2010).
