Farrah Leni Fawcett was a popular model who rose to prominence after joining the Hollywood acting industry. She is the recipient of Emmy Awards and Golden Globe Award nominations. The actress died at the age of 62, because of anal cancer.
She started her career, as a model for famous brands like ‘Ultra Brite toothpaste,’ ‘Max Factor cosmetics,’ ‘Noxzema skin cream,’ ‘Beautyrest mattresses,’ and ‘Mercury Cougar automobiles.’ After becoming a popular face, she was offered small roles in many television shows like ‘Dream of Jeannie,’ ‘The Flying Nun,’ ‘The Partridge Family,’ ‘Love Is a Funny Thing,’ and ‘The Six Million Dollar Man.’
Fawcett started getting more prominent roles after the success of her 1979 film ‘Sunburn’ in which she performed the lead role of Ellie Morgan. Other famous Farrah Fawcett movies include ‘Saturn 3’ (1980), ‘Extremities’ (1986), ‘Man of the House’ (1995), ‘The Flunky’ (2000), and her last movie appearance was in ‘The Cookout’ as Mrs. Crowley.
