Donald McKinley Glover Jr. is an American actor, rapper, singer, writer, director, producer, and comedian who is known by the names Childish Gambino and mcDJ on stage. Initially, he rose to fame through his role in the well-received comedy series ‘Community’ (2009-2014). He is probably best known for his work in the FX series ‘Atlanta’ (2016) as an actor, creator, producer, writer, and director.
Glover won various awards for his work in ‘Atlanta,’ including two Golden Globe Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. For his work in the famous television sitcom ’30 Rock’ and TV series ‘Atlanta,’ he received five Writers Guild of America Awards. His other acclamations include Black Reel Awards, NAACP Image Awards, Peabody Awards, TCA Awards, Comedy Awards, TV Guide Awards, and many more.
