Brittany Anne Murphy-Monjack was a talented star in Hollywood movies who gave up the ghost at the age of 32. Her popular roles were in the movies Clueless,’ ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous,’ ‘Bongwater,’ and ‘8 Mile.’ She received nominations for the Young Artist Award, Teen Choice Award, and Satellite Awards in appreciation of her great performances in Hollywood movies as well as dramas.
She learned singing and dancing in her childhood but after growing up, she decided to pursue an acting career. She appeared for the first time in a Broadway Play ‘A View from the Bridge’. After that, she was offered supporting roles in ‘Drexell’s Class,’ ‘The Torkelsons,’ ‘Party of Five,’ ‘Blossom,’ ‘Murder One,’ ‘Sister, Sister,’ ‘Parker Lewis Can’t Lose,’ ‘Frasier,’ and ‘Boy Meets World.’
In 2001, Murphy got her first lead role in the movie ‘Don’t Say a Word’ as Elisabeth Burrows. Two of her movies in which her role was critically praised are ‘8 Mile’ and ‘Sin City.’ Other Popular Brittany Murphy movies are ‘Just Married’ (2003), ‘Girl, Interrupted’ (1999), and ‘Little Black Book’ (2004). Her acting career was at its peak when she suddenly fell ill and later died in 2009. Two of her movies Abandoned (2010) and Something Wicked (2014) were released after her death.
